Day 4 – What is your view on gay marriage?

My view is that anyone should be allowed to marry the person they love and want to dedicate their life to. By saying you don't believe homosexuals should marry means your saying you don't believe being homosexual is acceptable in the first place which is just cruel, ignorant and hateful. I can understand that being gay is frowned upon in some religions and so they may chose not to recognise those marriages or allow a ceremony to take place in their place of worship (although why you'd want to be part of a religion that can't except you for being you makes no sense to me anyway) but in the eyes of the law anybody of legal age should be able to get married if they love each other regardless of sexuality.
